We are hiring a Senior Commissioning Manager with a mechanical background to oversee the delivery and commissioning of mechanical systems across a data center campus in Indonesia. This role will lead commissioning activities from early design through to Integrated Systems Testing (IST / CTA) and final handover, ensuring systems meet performance, reliability, and hyperscale standards.
This is a senior leadership role with responsibility across multiple buildings and stakeholders.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Mechanical Systems Leadership
- Lead delivery and commissioning of HVAC and cooling systems across a multi-building data center campus
- Oversee systems including chilled water (CHW), CRAH/CRAC, CDUs, cooling towers, and associated controls
- Ensure systems meet Tier standards for redundancy, resilience, and performance

Commissioning & Testing (Cx / CTA)
- Own commissioning lifecycle from Cx0–Cx5 and IST/CTA execution
- Lead development and execution of Cx4/Cx5 scripts, including failure testing (SPOF)
- Oversee key activities such as :
– CHW flushing
– TAB (Testing, Adjusting, Balancing)
– Water flow and performance verification - Review test results across buildings and ensure consistency and quality

Design & Technical Oversight
- Conduct design reviews and appraisals (SOO alignment)
- Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and method statements
- Identify and resolve design gaps, risks, and constructability issues early

Campus Leadership & Coordination
- Act as the main escalation point for mechanical commissioning issues
- Lead coordination across contractors, consultants, and internal teams
- Drive standardisation, lessons learned, and best practices across buildings

Risk & Delivery Management
- Identify and manage risks related to commissioning and system performance
- Ensure alignment between construction, energisation, and commissioning milestones
- Support critical activities including power-on and system readiness
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
- • 10+ years’ experience in MEP / data center projects
- • Strong background in mechanical commissioning (L1–L5)
- • Proven experience with:
– HVAC and cooling systems in mission-critical environments
– IST / CTA or integrated testing - Experience managing multiple stakeholders and contractors
PREFERRED
- Data center experience (hyperscale or Tier III/IV preferred)
- Experience with international standard
- Exposure to design review or consultancy roles / clients
- Certifications (CxA, PMP, etc.)
