Could you provide some details about your background?
I completed my Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Hong Kong in 2022 and commenced my career at Commtech Asia immediately following my graduation.
How do you feel upon the completion of the program ?
Achieving the completion of this program represents a significant milestone in my professional journey. While the two-year training can be challenging at times, the effort is undeniably worthwhile, and I have gained throughout the experience.
What is the most significant challenge encountered during this two-year journey.
Time management presents a constant challenge. As a graduate engineer participating in Scheme A training, I must balance my training responsibilities with my daily work tasks. Effective time management is crucial to ensure that everything is completed efficiently. This becomes particularly daunting during peak project periods. However, successfully navigating this challenge has equipped me with the ability to prioritize my tasks and utilize my time effectively.
Share one of your memorable project?
Being involved with a highly regarded non-profit organization in Hong Kong has been a remarkable journey. Out of all the projects I worked on during my training, this very first one remains the most impactful. This initial project was my gateway into the engineering world, and the guidance and support I received from my teammates were essential. It was a true honor to be part of this project from the construction stage through to its completion and handover. The satisfaction and sense of achievement I gained from this experience have inspired me to strive for excellence in all my upcoming project
How do you think Commtech Asia has assisted you through the journey so far ?
Commtech Asia has consistently demonstrated its commitment to our professional development by offering extensive training opportunities (especially the Center of Excellence Department provides a wealth of knowledge through various courses led by both internal and external experts in the field.). Over the course of two years, I have been exposed to a diverse array of training resources that have significantly enhanced my skills. The supportive and welcoming environment at CTA has played a crucial role in accelerating my learning journey. Throughout this period, both managers and colleagues have been invaluable mentors, generously sharing their expertise and insights during our daily interactions.
