We are seeking a motivated Senior Commissioning Manager ,Electrical to lead the delivery of mission-critical and data centre projects in Taiwan. This position is responsible for managing testing and commissioning activities, providing technical leadership, developing client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the growth of our Taiwan operations while mentoring and developing commissioning and project teams.
(Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Commissioning Manager.)
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage testing and commissioning activities across multiple projects.
- Provide technical leadership for electrical systems commissioning and integrated systems testing.
- Develop commissioning strategies, procedures, schedules, and project execution plans.
- Manage project resources, budgets, and delivery performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Lead project meetings and provide technical advice throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, quality requirements, and safety procedures.
- Mentor, coach, and develop commissioning and project engineering teams.
- Support business development activities, client engagement, and project pursuits as required.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of commissioning processes and best practices.
Requirements & Skills
Knowledge
- Degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin).
- Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Project.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, MEP infrastructure, testing & commissioning methodologies, and mission-critical facility operations.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in testing and commissioning, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
- Proven experience delivering data centre, mission-critical, commercial, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical power systems, integrated systems testing (IST), and project delivery processes.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary commissioning teams and managing client relationships.
- Experience working on projects across Asia Pacific is an advantage.
- Professional certifications such as BCxP, PMP, PE (Professional Engineer), or equivalent are highly desirable.
