Guoco Tower is a mixed-use development with office and retail towers, residential space and hotel tower located in CBD. Its completion saw an impressive development of the tallest landmark in Singapore, with a soaring height of 290m and spanning 64-storey high.

Commtech Asia was appointed by GuocoLand to act as an independent commissioning agent, providing LEED commissioning services for the various projects within the mixed-use development, which includes residential, hotel, retail and office zones. The team ensured that all energy-related systems, such found within the owner’s project requirements and the basis of design, are installed, calibrated and perform as intended and in line with LEED requirements. These include green features such as the energy-efficient lighting and water systems, performance glass façade to minimise solar heat gain, and solar photovoltaic cells to generate renewable energy.
As a result, the office and retail component of this project were awarded LEED Platinum, the hotel development received a LEED (New Construction) Gold while the residential development was conferred with LEED (New Construction) Silver.
