BIOTRONIK has recently celebrated the grand opening of their impressive seven-storey manufacturing and research hub in Singapore, and Commtech Asia (formerly Sygna) is proud to have played a crucial role as their commissioning management consultant. Spanning an impressive total of 210,000 square feet, the facility boasts private parking and even features a rooftop garden, complete with a dedicated MEP planting room. COMMTECH ASIA’s expertise was instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of the hub, as they meticulously validated the electrical power, cooling, and controls systems. Additionally, they certified the facility’s resilience and redundancy, guaranteeing clean room qualification across levels 2, 5, and 6.
The opening event was a momentous occasion, and COMMTECH ASIA’s contributions were duly recognized. Roy Kwong and Venkatesan Kripasankaran, key members of the team, were honored with complimentary plaques as a token of appreciation for their significant role in the success of the hub. Roy Kwong, the Country Manager of Singapore, expressed his pride in the project, stating, “This project is one of the company’s most significant healthcare endeavors, and it was a privilege to deliver multiple production cleanrooms within a single building as part of our Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) process. This expansion into the mission-critical market in Singapore has been truly rewarding.”
Ven, the Senior Commissioning Manager, echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the gratitude felt by the team. “We are profoundly grateful for the recognition of our service. This honor not only symbolizes our expertise but also represents the trust our clients have in us,” he added. The opening of BIOTRONIK’s manufacturing and research hub marks a milestone in the healthcare industry, and our role as a commissioning management consultant has solidified our position as a trusted partner in delivering exceptional projects.
