Aiming to provide a more collaborative and vibrant workspace for the employees, Arcadis, a leading design, engineering and consulting firm, relocated its office to a grade A office tower located at Two Harbour Square in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong.
We were engaged by Arcadis to provide environmental commissioning services for the 78,000 sq ft new office, which was designed to achieve USGBC LEED Platinum certification, under the category “LEED V4 for Interior Design and Construction: Commercial Interiors”.
We provided LEED consultancy services and conducted an independent review of the Owner Project Requirements (OPR), Basic of Design (BOD) and the Commissioning Authority (CxA), ensuring that the office design meets the sustainability criteria. The programme was developed as an ongoing commissioning review, through to the go-live operations, ten months after official site handover.
Today, Arcadis’ new office has commenced its full operations, receiving several industry accolades, including Hong Kong RICS Awards for ‘Excellence for Sustainability Achievement of the Year’ and was shortlisted for ‘Sustainability Award’ at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2019.
